The wireless receiver works as promised, plug-and-play, with a nice extension cord if you need the extra length. Design-wise it's much better looking and sleeker than the old 360 controller and the painful battery bump is gone underneath, in the new Xbox One Controller. I bought this controller after using my Xbox 360 controller and wireless receiver for a number of years.
